Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and formerly of Gortanaden, Belmullet, Co. Mayo – peacefully at his residence on 9th April 2025.

Predeceased by his parents James and Bridget Carey and his brothers Tony, Dominick, P.J., Peter, Martin, Michael and infant Thomas and his nephew James.

Beloved brother of Mary Hickey (Florida, U.S.A.) and Agnes (London) and dear uncle to Brian, Kevin, Lynn and Rita.

He will be sadly missed by his sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne on Thursday evening at 8 o’clock.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.
