Brendan was a true gentleman of Sandhill. I can’t think of him without thinking of his beloved wife Brigid , the two of them woven into the very fabric of the village. Their home, their presence, their warmth… it meant so much to our family over the years.

I’ll always treasure the stories he shared about the village and about my grandparents. Hearing him talk about them felt like stepping back into a time I never got to see, and I’ll always be so grateful for that.

May he rest in peace.
