Beatie passed away peacefully, in the care of the staff and nurses in Sligo University Hospital, with her family by her side.
Predeceased by her husband Sean and her parents Michael and Bridget McGovern.
Beatie is sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Declan, Michael, John and Thomas, daughters Mairead and Breege, her cherished grandchildren Sean, Clayton, Liam, Ruairí, Daniel, Conor, Declan, Paul and Patrick, brothers Michael-Joe and Pat, sister Kathleen (O’Gara), sons-in-law Anthony and Paul, Thomas’ partner Dara, sisters-in-law Cora, Marguerite, Mary, Mai and Finola, brother-in-law Christy, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Beatie will repose in O’Dowd’s Funeral Home, Gurteen, (F56F894), on Saturday evening (July 5th) from 5pm until 8pm. Removal from her home on Sunday, to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Killavil, for Mass of the Resurrection at 2pm with burial afterwards at St. Columba’s Cemetery, Ballymote.
House private to family and neighbours and house strictly private on Sunday please.
