It is with great sadness that we announce that Anthony (Tony) McGinty of Cottenham, Cambridge, England and formerly of Ballygaruvan, Ballycroy, County Mayo – passed away peacefully at home on April 14th 2026 following a short illness.

Predeceased by his parents Frank & Una, sister Bridie and brothers Patrick, Frank & Seamus.

Much loved and missed by his wife Brenda, sons Frank & Jamie, daughters-in-law Sharon & Lana, brothers Terry, Gerald & Michael, sisters Mary & Nora, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and all of the extended family and friends.

Funeral will arrive at All Saints Church Cottenham, Cambridge on Thursday, 21st May 2026 at 11.00am, followed by burial in the Church graveyard, and then afterwards at The Holiday Inn Impington, Cambridge.

No flowers please.
