Anthony (Tony) Cawley,

Hartlepool, England and formerly of Tallagh Hill, Belmullet, Co. Mayo – peacefully at his family home, surrounded by his loving family on 25th August 2024.

1945 – 2024

Predeceased by his parents Brian and Mary Cawley, sisters Margaret and Breege and brother Padraig.

May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Devoted husband to Liz and beloved father of Andrea, Emma and Sarah, much loved father-in-law of Ben, Michael and Peter and treasured grandfather to Emily, Libby, Tommy, Maria, Harry and Sadie. 

He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers and sisters May, Mike, Bernie, Christy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday, 3rd September at 10am at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Paul’s Road, Hartlepool, TS26 9EY.

Burial will take place afterwards at Stranton Cemetery Lodge, Tanfield Road, Hartlepool, TS25 5DD.
