Whitmore Way, Waterbeach, Cambridge, England and a native of Tallagh, Ballycroy, Co. Mayo ( 10th October 2025) – peacefully at the Arthur Rank Hospice, Cambridge after a sudden illness in his 82nd year surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Kathleen (née Cosgrove, Coolaba, Geesala).
Beloved father of Penny, Sarah and Eileen and cherished grandfather of Liam, Caitlín, Billy, Donnacha, Tony, Harry and Kate.
He will sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his sons in law Declan Barrett, Joe Shevlin and Glenn Addison, and also missed by Gay Smith, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Anthony will lie in repose at the Peasgood & Skeates Funeral Home, Newmarket Road, Cambridge, England on Friday, 31st October from 2.00pm to 4.30pm.
Funeral on Saturday, 1st November, 11am at St Laurence’s Church, Milton Road, Cambridge with burial afterwards at the Cambridge City Cemetery, Newmarket Road where he will be buried with his wife beloved Kathleen.
