We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Ann’s sudden passing. She was the most wonderful, kind and gentle lady. It was always lovely to have the chat in the post office with her. She welcomed young and old alike by name and always had great time for everyone. Her loss will be felt by the entire Cloonfad community. Anne and Paddy were the heart and soul of our little village,always happy to quietly help us in whatever way they could. Paddy was a huge loss and now with the sudden passing of Anne we are truly heartbroken. They were so happy together it is fitting that they are now reunited. Your company is what will be missed most, the warm welcome, the story telling ,the hearty laughs. We treasure and take comfort from the happy memories we have and that Anne and Paddy’s fine and lovely qualities live on through their lovely family of whom they were so proud, Geraldine, Padraig, Michelle, Natasha, PJ and Ciaran and in the days ahead may you take comfort and strength from them and from each other.
