Alan McDonagh

Rostaff, Headford, Co. Galway – on 21st March 2026, peacefully, following a sudden illness surrounded by his loving family in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

Alan will be forever loved and missed by his heartbroken parents Frank and Nora, his loving brother Darragh, sister Shauna and girlfriend Abbey.

Lovingly remembered by his aunties, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May Alan’s kind, gentle and loving soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Ryders Funeral Home, Headford (H91 R2V6) on Wednesday, 25th March from 5pm to 7:30pm.

Funeral Mass in St Marys Church, Glencorrib (H91 X744) on Thursday, 26th March at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in Moyne cemetery.

I am forever grateful to have met Alan in this life. I am from the United States but Alan was like a brother to me. I met him around 6 years ago. He was the kindest, nicest, and funniest young man that I have ever met. Rest in piece Alan. Love you bro.
