A beautiful woman, with many a story to tell – especially them ghost stories she would tell us before bed! I will remember fondly the craic we used to have with a cup of tea in the kitchen, the knowing look and the “mhmmmmm” she would say when she knew full well we were up to devilment! She was a lovely person and I remember her when I was part of faith and light in castlebar we had plenty of chats and i often spoke to her up town when I was with my friend Leah I will remember your sense of humour and laughter rip Aileen 💐💔 you have won a place in heaven

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to the family of Aileen King.
she was a true fighter but it very much sadly was not to be. she would call me when she was in the hospital and I would gladly race up to see her.
we had plenty of laughter and chat, both in the hospital and on the phone.
We also met in castlebar and we instantly picked up where we left off.
She has earned a place in heaven ❤️
God bless you Aileen you were, a brilliant friend and a lovely person to chat with I will miss our conversations but I know you are at peace 💔💐 Rip Aileen
