Knockroe, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Lisphillip, Ballinameen, Co. Roscommon – 2nd March 2025, peacefully surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of the staff at Aras Mathair Phoil.
He is predeceased by his parents Edward and Mary, sisters Maureen Enright (Ballinameen) and Veronica Dowd (Ballinagare), brothers Eamon (Birmingham), John (Cork), and Henry (Dublin), infant brother and sister, Patrick and Josephine and his brothers-in-law Clarrie and Noel.
Aidan will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, brothers Joe (Ballinameen) and Cyril (Birmingham), sister-in-law Phil, brothers-in-law Sean and Charlie, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends and his loyal canine companion Lily.

Aidan will be reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, Castlerea from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock on Monday evening with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea.
Mass of the Resurrection Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
