Worrying times for pharmaceutical companies selling to US Market

Most pharmaceutical companies selling to the US market could not survive a 200 per cent tariff, according to a leading economist.

Earlier this week, the US president threatened sweeping tariffs of up to 200 percent on pharmaceutical products made outside the United States.

Dan O’Brien, Chief Economist of the Institute of International and European Affairs, says it would be devastating.
