A woman has died as a results of injuries sustained in a road traffic collision on the N17 last month.
The two car collision occurred shortly after 2:00pm on Friday February 14 2025, at Ballinacarrow, Co. Sligo.
Four occupants of the vehicles involved were brought to Sligo University Hospital for treatment, with two of whom sustaining serious injuries.
One of these, a woman in her 50s, has since died as a result of her injuries.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conducted a technical examination of the scene, and investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward.
Any road users who were on the N17 at Ballinacarrow between 2:00pm and 2:30pm on Friday 14th February and may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
