Gardaà and emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at the junction of the N84 and the L5753 Drumkeaghta on the Castlebar to Ballinrobe road yesterday afternoon at approximately 3:45 pm.
A technical examination of the scene has been conducted.
Gardaà are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact them. Any road users who were travelling in the area between 3:20 pm and 4:15 pm yesterday and who may have any information are asked to contact investigating GardaÃ.
Anyone with camera footage (including dash-cam and mobile phone footage) is asked to make that available.
