Today’s monthly meeting of Westport/ Belmullet Municipal District was postponed as a mark of respect on the passing of Mary Kelly (nee Carty), Ballywinna, Craughwell, Galway.
Mary is the mother of Kevin Kelly, the Chief Executive of Mayo County Council.
Today’s meeting was due to be held in Ionad Deirbhile, Aghleam, Blacksod, Belmullet.
The meeting has been rescheduled to later this week, Thursday May 1st at 2pm, in the same venue.
This comes as over 20 supplies across the country are officially in drought status.
