Uisce Éireann has announced that works are set to comments on a major water mains replacement project between Cloonfad and Lowberry Cross next month.
The project will involve the installation of more than 5km of modern water main, replacing ageing pipes that have recently been the cause of frequent bursts and supply disruptions.
It is hoped the works, which will benefit communities in Cloonfad, Derrylahan, Tonlegee, and surrounding areas will deliver long-term improvements to the reliability and resilience of the local water supply.
