Vhi has announced it’s putting up its prices.
Health insurance plans will rise by 3 per cent on average from the 1st of March.
The company says it’s needed because of a sustained rise in the number of people accessing healthcare and the associated costs of delivering this.
Vhi says there was a 12.5 per cent increase in private hospital claims costs last year, compared to 2023.
