US President Donald Trumps tariffs on nearly all US trading partners, including the European Union, will not come into effect until a week later than originally planned.
President Trump has signed an executive order meaning the new tariffs will come in on August 7th.
He had originally imposed a deadline of August 1st. It’s unclear as to why he has pushed the date out.
Last weekend the EU agreed a deal to pay a 15% tariff on US industrial goods.
