A leading café and catering group in the hospitality sector has announced the creation of up to 20 jobs with the opening of a new premises in Castlebar.
The multi-award winning Kennedys, owned by Castlebar couple Shane and Sarah Bourke, will open a new state of the art building at the former Skeffington Shop site at St. Martin’s Terrace, close to Castlebar’s town centre.
The Connaught Telegraph has today confirmed that the new building will consist of a large dining-in space, a dedicated takeaway area and food production facilities, employing up to 20 people when it opens in August.
Kennedys is well renowned for its organic coffee, high quality food and great customer service. They have been the recipients of a ‘Best in Ireland’ Bridgestone/ McKenna’s Guides Award every year since first opening in 2007.
They operate a number of outlets across Dublin, with the Castlebar premises being their 10th nationally – and first outside the capital.
