Two major events in Galway City today

Motorists are being advised to expect delays in Galway today, as two major events take place in the City.

Galway Pride takes place this afternoon, with the Streets of Galway 8K race getting underway later in the evening.

Those making their way through the area are being advised to plan ahead today.

The Community Pride parade begins in Eyre Square from 2 o’clock, while the 4,000 runners in the Streets of Galway race will depart from Father Griffin road at 7 o’clock this evening.
