Three hospitalised following Sligo collision

Three men were hospitalised following a collision in County Sligo yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision at Carnaree, Ballymote.

The incident took place at approximately 2:25pm on Friday.

Three men, one aged in his late teens, one in his 20s, and another in his 40s, were conveyed to Sligo University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The road has since fully reopened.
