Gardaí have charged three men, in relation to a drugs bust of over 2 million euro in Donegal.
As part of an intelligence-led operation, Gardaí and Revenue officers seized over 110kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of 2.2 million euro in Lifford in April of this year.
The seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the Donegal Divisional Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Custom Service.
Gardaí arrested two men, aged in their 30s at the time.
Now, three men have been charged, and appeared before Letterkenny District Court yesterday in relation to the seizure.
