Almost 700 young people in Mayo are on waiting lists for essential therapies such as Psychology, Occupational and Speech and Language therapy.
That’s according to figures obtained by Sinn Fein Deputy Claire Kerrane from the HSE.
The figures show over 3,553 children are on the same waiting lists in counties Roscommon & Galway.
Deputy Kerrane says far too many children are waiting too long for essential therapies that is having a negative impact on them and their well-being.
