Teenager dies in road traffic collision in Leitrim

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash in County Leitrim yesterday to come forward.

A teenage boy was killed when the tractor he was a passenger in was involved in an incident in Carrigallen at around 3.10pm on Tuesday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene while a second boy was brought to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Any road users who may have camera footage and were travelling in the area between 2.30pm and 3.30pm are asked to contact Gardaí.
