Michéal Martin’s leadership is once again under pressure.
Former Ceann Comhairle Seán Ó Fearghaíl, TD Paudie O’Sullivan and Senator Anne Rabbitte have written to the party chair asking for an urgent meeting to be convened, to discuss the future of Fianna Fáil and its leadership
The group are calling for discussions on the “loss of connectivity” with grassroots supporters, the party’s current standing and “leadership initiatives”
It comes after three of Fianna Fáils youngest TDs issued a statement yesterday, strongly criticising the coalition’s response to national fuel protests last week
TDs, Ryan O’Meara, James O’Connor, and Galway East’s Albert Dolan are calling for trust in the party to be restored.
