Taoiseach Micheál Martin says he has no concerns about his personal security after Enoch Burke’s family broke into a private event in Washington DC.
The Burkes gained access to last night’s Ireland Funds dinner and attempted to accost the Taoiseach before being tackled to the ground and removed by a combination of police, gardaí and security.
Micheál Martin says people have the right to protest in a proper manner and it was regrettable they crashed the event.
But the Taoiseach insists there are no faults in his security team.
