A quarter of people who voted for Fianna Fáíl in November say they wouldn’t have supported the party if they knew that housing targets weren’t met last year.
The Government aimed to build 40 thousand houses in 2024, but only delivered over 30 thousand.
The latest Business Post/Red C poll puts the party at 20 per cent, 3 points behind Sinn Féin.
Fine Gael are joint with their coalition partners in support, while Independents are down 2 to 11 per cent.
The Social Democrats are the most popular of the smaller parties, at 7 per cent, followed by Aontú, Independent Ireland and Labour all on 4 per cent.
