A Strategic Plan has officially been launched today committed to the future of Ballintubber Abbey.
Mayo Ministers Dara Calleary and Alan Dillon were present at today’s launch which saw a new website and booking system introduced, along with the presentation of the 2025-28 plan and an update on the commencement of the Ballintubber Abbey Cultural and Heritage Visitor Centre, which is set to begin later this year.
The multi million euro project has been partially funded by Mayo County Council, who have made a €650,000 contribution.
