Sport Minister to turn sod in Oranmore today

The Minister for Sport Patrick O’Donovan will turn the first sod on a new sports ground in Co. Galway today.

Over €2.5 million has been invested in the facility at Renville in Oranmore from the Department under its Sport Infrastructure Fund.

The new sports ground will house a full size 4G all-weather GAA pitch, multiple sand-based pitches along with other amenities.
