571 admitted patients are on trolleys in hospitals around the country today.
The INMO says University Hospital Limerick accounts for the largest number of those, with 112, followed by Cork University Hospital and Sligo University Hospital with 55 patients on trolleys.
Of the total number of people waiting for a bed, 355 are in emergency departments, while 216 are in wards elsewhere.
Elsewhere, In this region there are 41 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Galway, 27 patients at Mayo University Hospital and four at Portiuncula University Hospital in Ballinasloe.
