A Sligo councillor has confirmed that the county council have made an application to the Rural Regeneration Development Project for the Rosses Point Marina Project.
Councillor Thomas Walsh says at the recent Sligo/Drumcliffe MD meeting, the council says they are supportive of the project, and the potential benefits to the community if it is developed.
An application will now be prepared for the next round of funding which closes at the end of March.
