A Sligo farmer is appealing to the public to help him locate a pedigree Suffolk ram lamb with an estimated worth of €1,100, which has been missing from his farm for over a week.
TJ Keavaney reported the lamb as missing from his land at Cloonnamanagh, Ballymote to Collooney Garda Station on Saturday last, September 6.
The lamb was last seen on Wednesday September 3. He had a harness with an orange crayon and is most identifiable by a 1cm by 1cm notch out of his left ear.
Mr. Keaveney spoke to Agriland, saying that he traced the possible routes that the lamb may have taken, and says that he believes that the lamb has been stolen.
More information can be found on the Agriland website, and also the Irish Suffolk Sheep Society Facebook page.
