SIPTU will be highlighting the housing emergency at its conference in Galway today.
The union will also discuss the increased demand for unionisation among workers, particularly young staff.
The event will see over 400 delegates gather, representing workers from across the economy.
SIPTU Deputy General Secretary Ethel Buckley says members want to be able to afford a home:
charge on parcels worth less than 150 euro from outside the EU.
