Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious collision in County Galway.
The incident occurred on the N83 near Claregalway shortly after 2:00pm this afternoon.
It has not yet been confirmed how many vehicles or people were involved, however, Midwest News understands that at least one “serious injury” has been sustained.
The road has been closed between the town and the Corinthians Rugby Club grounds.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this three vehicle road traffic collision to come forward.
