A major air and sea search off northwest coast for a missing crew member from a UK navy fleet has ended without success.
The individual was last seen on Friday night, prompting a two-day operation involving the Irish Coast Guard, RNLI lifeboats and UK naval and air units.
The UK Ministry of Defence says an investigation is under way.
A large-scale multi-agency search had been taking place in the sea off the north-west coast between Tory Island, Co Donegal, and Eagle Island, Co Mayo.
