Roscommon was coldest county last month

Roscommon was the coldest county in Ireland last month.

The country’s coldest temperature in November was recorded in County Roscommon, according to the latest Met Éireann climate statement.

The month’s lowest temperature of -4.5 °C was recorded on Friday, November 21st at Mount Dillon, Co Roscommon.

Met Éireann’s climate statement also revealed that while November was a wet month overall, it was the fifth wettest on record for Ireland, and was milder and sunnier than average.
