A motorist in County Roscommon was caught driving at a speed over two times the legal limit earlier this week.
Roscommon Roads Policing Unit, while conduction speed checks, detected a car travelling at a speed of 104 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
The incident took place in Elphin.
The driver will face a court appearance in the near future.
