Tributes continue to be paid to Roscommon councillor Anthony Waldron, who passed away over the weekend.
Cllr Waldron, who was aged in his 60s, is understood to have died from natural causes at his home in Ballintubber.
He was re-elected to Roscommon County Council last June, having won his seat as an Independent in 2019. He served as a Fianna Fáil cllr from 2004-2009.
The Cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council, cllr Paschal Fitzmaurice, said that cllr Waldron will be sadly missed by his colleagues and constituents.
