A public meeting will be held this evening in Carrick on Shannon for all landowners in the west and northwest.
The meeting is on peatland designation, with representatives from the IFA, farm planners and others due to be in attendance.
The meeting takes place in the Landmark hotel this evening and gets underway from 7:45pm.
