People are being asked to be cautious of a fraudulent SMS that is circulation targeting Credit Union members.
Claremorris Credit Union have said that the message claims that recipients may quality for a “€1,500 electricity grant” if they have saved with their Credit Union and directs them to apply via a link within the text.
They have said the website is not affiliated with any legitimate Credit Union and appears to be part of a phishing campaign designed to harvest personal and financial information.
