The Public Expenditure Minister is defending the creation of additional Junior Minister jobs.
The Dail voted last night to pass legislation which creates the highest number of Ministers of State recorded in Ireland.
The Government is also facing two legal challenges to the right to appoint super junior ministers who attend Cabinet.
Public Expenditure Minister Jack Chambers is defending the extra jobs.
