A public consultation on the preferred route for the N26 between Mount Falcon and Foxford is due to take place on Wednesday week, 19th of this month, at the Great National Hotel in Ballina.
The preferred route for the long awaited road upgrade, has been whittled down from up to 5 potential routes, and will be revealed on the day.
The public consultation takes place between 2pm in the afternoon until 7pm in the evening, with members of the National Roads Design team on hand to answer questions and listen to observations and suggestions.
Foxford based Fine Gael councillor Neil Cruise says it’s important for anyone living along this road between Mountfalcon and Foxford to engage in the process, and if possible, to attend on Wed, 19th August.
