Part of a national road connecting east Mayo, Sligo and Roscommon with Galway is not fit for purpose, according to a protest group.
Locals in Dunmore, County Galway say the section of the N83 through their town is dangerously narrow.
They’re calling for derelict buildings on either side of the road to be demolished so it can be widened, and vehicles don’t have to mount footpaths to get by.
