A protest is to take place outside of the monthly meeting of Roscommon County Council this afternoon, over the planned public realm project in Ballaghaderreen.
The morning protests are now entering their eighth week.
Businesses say the removal of car parking spaces in the town centre will reduce accessibility within the town, and they fear their businesses will suffer as a result.
Deputy Claire Kerrane says the people of Ballaghaderreen are open to sit down with council officials and come to a resolution.
