A protest is underway this afternoon in Dunmore Town, over the condition of a main route through the area.
The Dunmore-Bridge Street action group is organizing today’s demonstration, to highlight the condition for the town’s Bridge Street, which they say is a “death trap” for children walking to school.
The group say the road is too narrow, leading to unsafe traffic conditions in the town centre with cars mounting the kerb at times, and that high levels of dereliction in the area are contributing to the issue as well.
