Planning approval has been granted for 219 new social and affordable apartments near Galway city centre.
They’re to be based on Dyke Road, after An Coimisiún Pleanála granted permission.
Construction is expected to begin in 2027, with future phases to include commercial, civic, and cultural amenities.
The Land Development Agency and Galway City Council are welcoming the approval.
The move is part of the ongoing transformation of the mail business
