Dozens of people will ‘Brave The Drop’ today, as they abseil from the top of Croke Park in aid of Mayo Cancer Support.

Over €272,000 has been raised so far for the Croke Park Abseil Challenge, taking place at GAA HQ this afternoon.

All funds raised will go to the Mayo Cancer Support Association at Rock Rose House.

Our very own Sports Editor Michael D. McAndrew takes on the challenge, alongside sports analyst Martin Carney, Mayo manager Andy Moran, household names like John Maughan and Alan Dillon.

A large number of Mayo GAA club members and users of Mayo Cancer Support’s services will also be participating.

Mayo Cancer Support is the official charity sponsor of Mayo GAA this year.
