509 admitted patients are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country this morning.
The INMO says 368 of those are in emergency departments, while 141 are in wards.
100 people are on trolleys in University Hospital Limerick, the largest number in the country.
That’s followed by University Hospital Galway with 51 patients on trolleys and Cork University Hospital.
Elsewhere, in this region there are 27 patients on trolleys at Sligo University Hospital and eleven patients on trolleys at Mayo University Hospital.
