The Orthopedic Theatre at Sligo University Hospital remains out of action almost a week on after Storm Damage.
The Theatre closed last Thursday after extensive rain water came through the roof.
The HSE has confirmed that air sampling results of the theatre have come back clear and that work is underway to reschedule all cancelled procedures, and affected patients will be contacted directly.
However, there is still no confirmed reopening date for the Orthopedic Theatre at Sligo University Hospital.
Independent Councillor Marie Casserly feels this saga is going on for far too long.
Cllr. Casserly says the bigger picture is that the building is far too old for all of the state of the art equipment that the theatre has.
