Uisce Éireann has introduced overnight water restrictions for customers in the Skreen and Dromard areas of County Sligo from tonight.
The restrictions will be in place from 8pm to 8am each night until further notice and are intended to help maintain water supplies during the day following increased demand in the recent warm weather.
The measures affect customers supplied by the Skreen and Chapel Street reservoirs.
Meanwhile, overnight restrictions already in place for customers in the Corballa and Castleconnor areas will continue from 10pm to 8am each night.
Uisce Éireann is encouraging customers to conserve water where possible and to check for leaks around their homes as it continues to monitor water levels.
