The development of the New Town Hall Project in Ballinrobe, with the redevelopment of the Valkenburg building is continuing to progress.
Since acquiring the building in 2020, both the Ballinrobe Civic, Arts & Amenity Company and South West Mayo Development Company have been working in partnership to deliver a modern, sustainable community facility for the town.
Over the past 18 months, significant work has been completed, including the appointment of a professional project team: KSN Project Management, Taylor McCarney Architects, and Tom McNamara & Sons (Quantity Surveyors). The team is now guiding the project through detailed design and tender preparation.
